Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) is proud to celebrate the incredible graduates of Sheep Dog University (SDU) Class 003! These dedicated Sheep Dogs came together from across the nation for a three-day, intensive training at our headquarters and Heroes Ranch. Through classroom instruction, hands-on facility engagement, and practical field exercises, they sharpened their leadership, communication, and outreach skills to serve as powerful SDIA Ambassadors.
We are thrilled to welcome them to the team and can’t wait to see the impact they will make in their communities and beyond.
What is Sheep Dog University?
Sheep Dog University is SDIA’s training program designed to develop passionate Veterans and First Responders into Ambassadors who share our mission of helping our nation’s heroes. The curriculum equips participants with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to carry SDIA’s message across the country.
Our Ambassador program ensures SDIA’s vision of engaging, empowering, and assisting continues to grow nationally. These leaders embody our call to action: get off the couch, live your best life, and transform trauma into triumph.
Highlights from Class 003 Training
During this quarter’s training, eight exceptional Sheep Dogs leaned into the SDU curriculum and embraced the challenge of becoming Ambassadors. Traveling from multiple states, they committed themselves fully to the program, proving once again that service is a lifelong mission.
Denise Sharpe, one of our new graduates, reflected on her experience:
“Just returned from Sheep Dog Impact Assistance Ambassador Training, and my heart is still full. 💙 Stepping onto Heroes Ranch is always an incredible feeling and honestly, it’s hard to leave. But knowing I can come back any time means the world to me.
Heroes Ranch is more than just a place, it’s a sanctuary where Veterans and First Responders can unplug, heal, and grow into the next chapter of their lives. It’s where walls come down, connections are made, and the warrior spirit gets a new mission. Both the Ambassador training and our reunion recharged my passion and purpose to help other Sheep Dogs #GetOffTheCouch.”
