The journey of growth on the Homefront can begin quietly, but it begins powerfully.
Through the Homefront Support Program, spouses, partners, caregivers, and family members are introduced to the principles of Posttraumatic Growth (PTG) in a space designed just for them.
In guided conversations, shared meals, equine connection, workshops, and peer circles, spouses stand shoulder-to-shoulder with others who understand the invisible weight of loving someone who serves. Together, they learn tools for regulation, communication, resilience, and rebuilding, strengthening not only themselves, but the foundation of their homes.
This is not just support; it is restoration, clarity, and the courage to grow forward.
Because when the Homefront grows stronger, everything built upon it stands taller.

Strengthening Those Who Stand Beside Our Nation’s Heroes
In August 2026, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance hosted Homefront 0001, welcoming the first 11 participants to Heroes Ranch for a program built around a need we’ve heard for years: those who stand beside our nation’s heroes need support, too.
Homefront brings the principles of Posttraumatic Growth, mental wellness, connection, and resilience to the spouses and loved ones who help create the homes our nation’s heroes return to after service. These men and women have carried families through deployments, transitions, injuries, loss, and the challenges that can follow service. They deserve the opportunity to invest in their own growth, wellness, and ability to live their best lives.
The response from our first 11 Homefront participants was clear: this program fills an important need within the Sheep Dog community.
Now, we need the support to grow it.
With additional funding, SDIA can make Homefront a regular part of our Get Off The Couch® programming at Heroes Ranch, offering additional courses and reaching more military and first responder families. The investment required is comparable to our Warrior PATHH programming, with funding supporting lodging, meals, curriculum, trained facilitators, materials, and the immersive experience that makes this work possible.
Homefront 0001 proved the need. Your support can help us answer it.
Because our heroes do not heal, grow, or build their lives alone. We are all warriors, and those who stand beside them deserve the opportunity to grow, too.
