Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) is proud to announce a major milestone at Heroes Ranch: the launch of our on-site Equine Arena, now fully integrated into the Warrior PATHH program.
On January 14, 2026, SDIA hosted its first equine module on property, marking the beginning of a new chapter in how we support Veterans and First Responders on their journey from post-traumatic stress to post-traumatic growth.
A Game-Changer for Warrior PATHH
For years, Warrior PATHH cohorts traveled off-site to partner equine facilities, spending hours each day in transit. With the Heroes Ranch Equine Arena Build now located directly at Heroes Ranch, participants can remain fully immersed in the PATHH environment.
This shift allows:
- More time for reflection, connection, and growth
- Seamless integration between equine work and PATHH curriculum
- Reduced stress and disruption for participants
- A stronger, more grounded therapeutic experience
Equine engagement plays a vital role in Warrior PATHH by helping participants regulate emotions, build trust, and reconnect with purpose through movement and presence.
