A New Chapter for the Bella Vista Veterans Wall of Honor
Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) is honored to begin a new chapter in the story of the Veterans Wall of Honor in Bella Vista, Arkansas, as the organization officially assumes stewardship of this meaningful Northwest Arkansas landmark from the Bella Vista Veterans Council.
For years, the Veterans Wall of Honor has provided a place for the Bella Vista community to recognize, remember, and honor the men and women who have served our nation. Its legacy has been built and preserved through the dedication of the Bella Vista Veterans Council, local Veterans, volunteers, families, supporters, and community members who understood the importance of creating a permanent place of remembrance.
As SDIA takes on responsibility for the Wall, our goal is not simply to maintain a physical place. It is to honor the legacy already entrusted to it while helping ensure that the Wall remains a meaningful part of the community for generations to come.
Honoring the Legacy of the Bella Vista Veterans Council
Sheep Dog Impact Assistance extends its sincere gratitude to the Bella Vista Veterans Council and the many individuals who have dedicated their time, resources, and care to the Veterans Wall of Honor.
Their commitment transformed the Wall into more than a memorial. It has become a place where names carry stories, service is remembered, families can reflect, and the community can demonstrate its gratitude to those who answered the call to serve.
SDIA is proud to carry that work forward.
The transition represents both a responsibility and an opportunity: to preserve what has been built while continuing to strengthen the Wall’s connection to Veterans, their families, and the greater Bella Vista and Northwest Arkansas communities.
Continuing SDIA's Commitment to Those Who Serve
For Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, stewardship of the Veterans Wall of Honor is a natural extension of a mission that has guided the organization since its founding: Engage, Assist, and Empower our nation’s Veterans and First Responders to #GetOffTheCouch® and live their best lives.
SDIA was founded by military and first responder Sheep Dogs with a deep understanding of service, sacrifice, camaraderie, and the importance of continuing to find purpose after the uniform comes off.
Through Outdoor Adventures, Warrior PATHH, Disaster Response Missions, and other opportunities for connection and service, SDIA works to help Veterans and First Responders remain engaged with their communities and one another.
The Veterans Wall of Honor adds another dimension to that mission.
It gives us a place to remember those who served before us, recognize those who serve today, and create opportunities for future generations to understand the people and stories behind that service.

A name etched into a memorial represents a person. A family. A period of service. A story that deserves to remain part of our collective history.
As the new steward of the Bella Vista Veterans Wall of Honor, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance is committed to treating that responsibility with the respect it deserves.
We are grateful to those who built this legacy, those who have protected it, and the community that continues to support it.
Now, we have the privilege of helping carry it forward.

UPDATE: Community Shows Up for the Veterans Wall of Honor
The next chapter at the Bella Vista Veterans Wall of Honor is already underway, and it started with exactly what this special place represents: service and community.
On September 23, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance volunteers and community members gathered at the Wall for a Volunteer Community Cleanup Day ahead of this week’s Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. From landscaping and planting flowers to cleaning, preparing the grounds, setting up, and tackling the many little jobs that make a big difference, volunteers rolled up their sleeves and got to work.
The photos tell the story beautifully. There were work gloves, buckets, flowers, equipment, plenty of dirt, and even more smiles. 🌼🇺🇸
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who gave their time and energy to help prepare the Veterans Wall of Honor for this next chapter. This is what #GetOffTheCouch® looks like in action: people coming together, serving alongside one another, and caring for a place dedicated to honoring those who served.
