Monster Energy Volunteers Give Back at SDIA Heroes Ranch
At Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA), volunteers are an essential part of the work that keeps our mission moving forward. From maintaining SDIA Heroes Ranch to supporting events, Outdoor Adventures, disaster response efforts and community projects, volunteers give their time and talents to help us Engage, Assist and Empower our nation’s Veterans and First Responders.
Recently, we were honored to welcome a volunteer team from Monster Energy for a day of service at SDIA Heroes Ranch in Pineville, Missouri.
A Team Day With an Impact
The Monster Energy team traded their normal workday for a day of rolling up their sleeves and helping at the Ranch. Their time and energy contributed to the ongoing work required to maintain the property and create a welcoming environment for the Veterans, First Responders and families who participate in SDIA programs.
Heroes Ranch is more than a destination. It is a place where Sheep Dogs can step away from everyday demands, reconnect with others who understand their experiences, challenge themselves and continue moving forward through SDIA’s Get Off The Couch® programming and posttraumatic growth opportunities.
Keeping a property like Heroes Ranch ready for those experiences takes a community.
That is where volunteers make an enormous difference.
And, of course, no volunteer day at Heroes Ranch is quite complete without taking a break to visit some of the Ranch’s four-legged residents. ❤️
