An evening of gratitude, remembrance, and community at Sheep Dog Impact Assistance’s Heroes Ranch in Northwest Arkansas.
At Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA), our mission is made possible by the generosity of people who believe in serving those who have served.
Our 2026 Donor Appreciation Dinner, held at the LtCol Dick White Equine Arena at Heroes Ranch in Jane, Missouri, brought together donors, supporters, families, staff, and members of the Sheep Dog community for an evening of gratitude, reflection, and remembrance.
It was an opportunity to celebrate a remarkable year of growth at Heroes Ranch, recognize the people who make our programs possible, and honor three Fallen Heroes whose legacies will forever be part of the Ranch.
Celebrating a Year of Growth at Heroes Ranch
The year 2026 has brought exciting milestones to Heroes Ranch, SDIA’s home for healing, connection, and Posttraumatic Growth.
Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we celebrated several important developments:
Opening of the LtCol Dick White Equine Arena, expanding opportunities for equine activities, connection, and programming.
Opening of the Granite Mountain Training Facility, dedicated to the Granite Mountain Hotshots.
Hosting our first Homefront class, extending Warrior PATHH’s Posttraumatic Growth principles to spouses of our nation’s warriors.
Construction of a new loafing shed, supporting the care and well-being of our horses.
Welcoming two miniature donkeys, completing the latest additions to our equine herd.
Celebrating the birth of new Highland calves, bringing even more life to Heroes Ranch.
Each milestone represents more than a new facility, program, or addition to the Ranch. These investments help create an environment where Military members, Veterans, First Responders, and their families can connect, build relationships, and discover opportunities for continued growth.
Where Hope Is Restored and Growth Takes Root
While the Ranch continues to grow, its greatest impact cannot be measured in buildings, acreage, or facilities.
It is found in the people who walk through its doors.
During the evening, SDIA Warrior PATHH Director Raffy Morales shared the deeper purpose behind the work happening at Heroes Ranch: restoring hope, transforming lives, and creating opportunities for meaningful Posttraumatic Growth.
Through programs such as Warrior PATHH, Homefront, and Outdoor Adventures, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance helps our nation’s heroes reconnect with themselves, their families, and a community that understands the challenges of service and life beyond it.
For many participants, Heroes Ranch becomes more than a destination. It becomes a place to rediscover purpose, strengthen relationships, and recognize that struggle does not have to be the end of their story.
That is the impact our donors make possible.
Honoring Fallen Heroes: Three Special Room Dedications
One of the most meaningful moments of the 2026 Donor Appreciation Dinner was a ceremony honoring three Fallen Heroes whose service, sacrifice, and legacies will remain permanently connected to Heroes Ranch.
Surrounded by their families and members of the Sheep Dog community, SDIA dedicated three rooms in their honor:
CWO3 Donovan Briley | Engleman Lodge
A room in Engleman Lodge was dedicated in honor of Chief Warrant Officer 3 Donovan Briley, recognizing his service and sacrifice and ensuring his legacy remains part of the Heroes Ranch community.
SOC Adam Brown | Apple Lodge
A room in Apple Lodge was dedicated to Special Warfare Operator Chief Adam Brown, honoring his courage, service, and enduring legacy.
Major Ray Hull | Gee Lodge
A room in Gee Lodge was dedicated in memory of Major Ray Hull, recognizing his service and the lasting impact of his life.
These dedications carry a significance that extends far beyond the rooms themselves.
As future generations of Veterans, First Responders, and family members come to Heroes Ranch seeking connection, healing, and renewed purpose, the names and stories of these Fallen Heroes will remain part of that journey.
We are deeply grateful to their families for allowing Sheep Dog Impact Assistance to help carry their legacies forward.
Their names will be remembered. Their service will be honored. Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
A Community That Makes the Mission Possible
The Donor Appreciation Dinner was also a celebration of the relationships that sustain Sheep Dog Impact Assistance.
Around tables filled with conversation, shared meals, and familiar faces, supporters had an opportunity to see the community their generosity helps create.
Every donation, sponsorship, volunteer hour, and act of support contributes to something larger than any single event or program.
It helps provide opportunities for Veterans and First Responders to participate in Outdoor Adventures, engage in Posttraumatic Growth training through Warrior PATHH, and rediscover purpose through Continued Service and Disaster Response Missions.
Our mission is not simply to offer a single experience. It is to build a lasting community where Sheep Dogs can remain connected, continue growing, and find new opportunities to serve.
The program may change. The community remains.
