The Midwest area was hit by several tornadoes throughout Friday, May 16, with more projected to hit throughout this weekend. Several fatalities and injuries have been reported, and many communities are dealing with widespread damage following this outbreak.

SDIA Disaster Response Mission:Central AR Gold Star Family
Sheep Dog Impact Assistance will deploy on a SINGLE-DAY Disaster Response Mission (DRM) to Cabot, AR to assist a Gold Star family to clean up fallen trees and debris following the recent severe storms.
Deployment Details:
Deployment Date: Saturday, May 31, 2025
Departure Location: Center for Nonprofits (CFN)
Departure Time: 0600 hours
Mission Duration: 1 day (5/31/2025)
Please pack a lunch and bring any preferred drinks. Water will be provided by SDIA.
**Interested Team Members can also meet at the work location in Cabot, AR. This address will be shared upon registering for the deployment.

2025 Kilimanjaro Climb for a Cause
In 2025, a group of determined Sheep Dogs will embark on a monumental journey to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. This climb is more than just a physical challenge; it’s a powerful symbol of the perseverance, resilience, and unbreakable spirit that Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) fosters in those who have served.
This is the 9th group to take on this challenge with SDIA, and they look forward to all 8 team members reaching the summit. Each climber is training to overcome their unique challenges to prepare for the ascent, and your support helps them with essential gear, travel, and other essentials.
As our climbers push themselves to reach new heights, they are raising vital funds to support SDIA’s mission of empowering America’s heroes to rediscover their sense of purpose through Outdoor Adventures, Warrior PATHH post-traumatic growth training, and critical support services.
