This Thanksgiving season, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) invites you to join us in two incredible ways to serve those who serve us by running, donating, or volunteering to make a difference for our nation’s Heroes.
We’re combining our annual NWA Turkey Trot for Heroes with our Thanksgiving Meal Food Drive to bring the Northwest Arkansas community together in gratitude, service, and support for our Veterans and First Responders.

🍂 Thanksgiving Meal Food Drive – Donate Now through November 24!
Each year, SDIA provides complete Thanksgiving meals to Veterans, Police Officers, Firefighters, EMS personnel, and Military families across Northwest Arkansas and the River Valley.
Our goal this year is to deliver 125+ full Thanksgiving boxes, and with your support, we can serve even more.
How to Help
Drop off non-perishable food items at one of many orange box collection sites around NWA, or bring your donations to the SDIA National Office:
