Sheep Dog University  educates  Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA)  employees and ambassadors by providing the knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively represent the organization. Through targeted training, participants gain the ability to clearly communicate SDIA’s mission, demonstrate its core values, and amplify its impact within their communities.

Graduates leave equipped with actionable tools to share authentic stories of service and inspire others to support the ongoing mission of helping those who continue to serve, long after their uniforms come off.

Who is an Ambassador?

As an  SDIA Ambassador, you become the heartbeat of a movement that transforms lives. You’re not just representing an organization; you’re living a lifestyle of purpose and action that ignites change. Ambassadors are the charismatic connectors who bring the  “Get Off The Couch™” philosophy to life within their communities.

You’ll attend events, share powerful stories of impact, and create meaningful pathways for others to support our military veterans and first responders. This is more than representation—it’s about catalyzing real change by turning appreciation into action.

ontinued Service is a vital part of the posttraumatic growth journey. Serving alongside fellow Sheep Dogs fulfills our innate drive to serve, reigniting a sense of belonging, purpose, and pride that many have been missing. Our Disaster Response Missions are the cornerstone of this service—providing impactful volunteer opportunities that empower our Sheep Dogs to continue serving their communities and country when disaster strikes. We also encourage members to engage in local acts of service that may seem small but mean everything to those affected—like repairing a disabled veteran’s home, cleaning headstones at a national cemetery, restoring a park, working in a soup kitchen, or coaching a youth team.
