Sheep Dog Impact Assistance is forming a Disaster Response Mission (DRM) Quick Reaction Force (QRF) Leadership Team and is seeking experienced Sheep Dogs ready to help lead disaster response efforts across the country.
The QRF is a cross-trained leadership team designed to strengthen SDIA’s ability to respond quickly, responsibly, and compassionately when communities are in crisis. This initiative reflects SDIA’s commitment to disciplined service, ethical leadership, and long-term sustainability in disaster response operations.
What Is the DRM Quick Reaction Force?
The DRM QRF is a leadership cadre, not a standing deployment roster. Members will help guide and support SDIA disaster response missions as needed, providing leadership, mentorship, and operational stability in the field.
Participation does not require deployment on every mission, making this opportunity accessible to leaders who want to serve while balancing family, work, and other commitments.
QRF Leadership Responsibilities
Members of the Quick Reaction Force will:
- Uphold SDIA’s deployment creed: patience, professionalism, and kindness
- Support disaster response operations nationwide
- Provide calm, ethical leadership in dynamic environments
- Mentor volunteers and emerging leaders in the field
- Represent Sheep Dog Impact Assistance with excellence and integrity
Who Should Apply?
SDIA is seeking Sheep Dogs with experience in areas such as:
- Military service
- First response
- Emergency management
- Disaster relief or humanitarian operations
- Team leadership in high-stress environments
Geographic location is not a barrier. Leadership from across the United States is encouraged, as QRF members may support missions in a variety of capacities.
