May 2025 NWA Disaster Relief Mission: SDIA Clears 256 Trees, Helps 88 People, and Earns Citywide Praise

After a powerful deployment in May 2025, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) has once again demonstrated why we’re trusted boots on the ground when disaster strikes. This month’s NWA Disaster Relief Mission resulted in:

✅ 19 properties cleared

✅ 88 people directly helped

✅ 11 Veterans served

✅ 26 dedicated volunteers

✅ 256 storm-damaged trees cut and cleared

These numbers speak for themselves, but the local recognition we received speaks even louder.

City of Greenland Recommends SDIA for Benefit Concert Donations

A group of local musicians recently approached the City of Greenland, Arkansas, hoping to donate the proceeds of their upcoming benefit concert to support disaster relief efforts. The response from city officials was both humbling and inspiring:

“Please give the money to SDIA instead—they were some of the first boots on the ground and they deserve it.”

That endorsement came directly from the Mayor and the City Treasurer—a testament to the trust, impact, and strong relationships our teams continue to build with local communities during their most challenging times.

SDIA Disaster Response in 40/29 News Coverage

GREENLAND, Ark. — Crews with Sheep Dog Impact Assistance are set to be back in Greenland, Arkansas, Tuesday, after multiple tornadoes hit Washington County.

Around 7:30 p.m. Monday, a possible tornado touched down west of Greenland, causing damage to homes and business.

"We like to say that helping is healing, so going out and helping others is a huge aspect of what we do," said Bob Corscadden, director of disaster response for Sheep Dog. "A lot of times, we help people that wouldn't normally get any help, don't have insurance. No one's coming to help them anytime soon. And so that's really the kind of people we look for."

Thousands were without power in Washington County Tuesday morning.

2025 Kilimanjaro Climb for a Cause

This climb is more than just a physical challenge; it’s a powerful symbol of the perseverance, resilience, and unbreakable spirit that Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) fosters in those who have served.

This is the 9th group to take on this challenge with SDIA, and they look forward to all 8 team members reaching the summit. Each climber is training to overcome their unique challenges to prepare for the ascent, and your support helps them with essential gear, travel, and other essentials.

As our climbers push themselves to reach new heights, they are raising vital funds to support SDIA’s mission of empowering America’s heroes to rediscover their sense of purpose through Outdoor Adventures, Warrior PATHH post-traumatic growth training, and critical support services.
