New SDIA Series: SgtMaj Takeaways

Leadership Lessons that Built Sheep Dog Impact Assistance from CEO & Founder Lance Nutt

Dedicated staff and guides ensured a safe, meaningful environment for reflection and growth, proving that healing does not pause for weather. We proudly congratulate the women of Warrior PATHH Class 072, who completed five days of intensive Posttraumatic Growth training and now begin their 90-day journey to apply what they’ve learned and #StruggleWell. Regardless of conditions, the mission moves forward.

Veterans United Foundation Joins Sheep Dog Impact Assistance for an Epic Outdoor Adventure at Heroes Ranch

Jane, Missouri – October 2025 – This past weekend, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) had the incredible honor of hosting staff from the Veterans United Foundation (VUF) at Heroes Ranch for an unforgettable Sheep Dog Outdoor Adventure. 💪

As one of SDIA’s most impactful partners, Veterans United Foundation has played a vital role in helping Veterans and First Responders nationwide get off the couch and rediscover purpose through service, community, and Post-Traumatic Growth (PTG). This weekend gave the VUF team a hands-on experience with the very programs their generosity makes possible, and it was nothing short of epic.

From high-energy activities that pushed comfort zones to moments of reflection around the campfire, the weekend captured everything SDIA stands for: connection, camaraderie, and growth. Each adventure at Heroes Ranch reinforces the belief that healing happens through action and that the bonds formed between Sheep Dogs (our nation’s protectors) can last a...
