2016 Christmas Outreach Recap
This year's Christmas Outreach program far surpassed our expectations, both in the number in need and the overwhelming generosity of our supporters. When all the gifts were wrapped and delivered, SDIA Chapters and Teams provided gifts for more than 400 children of Sheep Dogs in need this holiday season. Words are inadequate in expressing our gratitude for every one of our sponsors, members, volunteers and supporters who contributed to this effort. We could not help these heroes and their families without YOU...THANK YOU! Northwest AR Chapter During the first part of December, the Northwest AR Chapter was busy collecting donations for its Christmas Outreach to give to the children of Sheep Dog families in need a merry Christmas. Once collected, Walmart's Marketing & Development Team got the items organized. The next day, SDIA volunteers put together gift packages for more than 150 children - and Walmart's Print Solutions Center adopted an additional 25 children. Thank you, Walmart!
Once all the packages were...
The 2016 Holiday Season is Upon Us – and We Need YOUR Help!
The holiday season is upon us once again. Most Americans live well enough to enjoy the holidays, but for many of our nation's Veterans and First Responders (Law Enforcement, Fire & Rescue, and EMS professionals), that is not the case. These courageous men and women put their lives on the line for us each and every day, giving us the gift of protection and security. It's time for us to give them and their children the gift of happy holidays. Over the next couple of months, SDIA Teams and Chapters throughout the US will be working hard to raise money and secure donations for our two Holiday Programs benefiting Sheep Dog families in need.
The Thanksgiving Outreach program provides a complete traditional Thanksgiving dinner including a turkey, ham, vegetables, sides, and pie. Meals are provided to Sheep Dog families in need of assistance who have applied and been approved by Team/Chapter leadership. Donations in the amount of $60 will feed one family.

SDIA’s 2016 Spring Hog Hunt
Another great bi-annual Sheep Dog Hog Hunt is in the books! Hunting at Turkey Creek Ranch in NW Texas never disappoints, and the teams from Broadway Contracting and ProTrucks that make these hunts possible, always deliver one of the best experiences around. It's more than "just a hunt;" these weekends give our sponsored combat wounded vets and first responders injured in the line of duty the camaraderie that they've been missing as well as a welcoming environment to truly relax and be themselves. Whether it's hunting wild boar, turkeys, jack rabbits, and coyotes, or simply testing their skills at target shooting, the opportunity to bond with fellow Sheep Dogs and supporters is priceless.
During this hunt we honored the service and sacrifice of SGT. Adam Holland, SGT. 1st Class Dan Moss, Patrol Officer Zac McArthur, and SGT. Justin Bryant. Their dedication and commitment to our nation is to be commended, and the blood and sweat they sacrificed, should...
SDIA Makes Christmas Merry for 230 Sheep Dog Children
What an amazing accomplishment this year by our many SDIA members, volunteers, and supporters. Due to the effort of so many giving and caring people, we were able to make Christmas wishes come true for more than 230 children. All of these kiddos have parents that are currently serving, or have served, in the military or first responder community, and are struggling with financial difficulties this holiday season. The ability of our organization to help those that help make our country a safer place, one where all are capable of celebrating the holiday season in their own special way - our nation's Sheep Dogs - truly brings the meaning of the holiday season to life.
The NWA Chapter and Arkansas River Valley Team distributed gifts at the 2nd annual Christmas Outreach Fun Fest in Rogers, AR. Many of the families that received assistance this Christmas were able to attend, have a great meal and lots of fun. For more photos of...

But you can help change that! On Thanksgiving morning (Thur., Nov. 26) from 9:00 to 11:00am, Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) will host its 8th Annual Turkey Trot 5K at the Center for Nonprofits in Rogers.
