Memorial Day Flag Planting
Join Us for Memorial Day Flag Planting at Fayetteville National Cemetery
Hey NWA Local Sheep Dogs,
Please mark your calendars for this year’s Memorial Day Flag Planting at the Fayetteville National Cemetery. Let’s come together to honor and remember our fallen heroes by placing flags at their resting places.
🗓 Date: Saturday, May 24th⏰ Time: 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM📍 Location: Fayetteville National Cemetery
We need volunteers to help with the flag planting. If you’re available to join us, please reach out to Makenna Hudson at mhudson@sheepdogia.org.
Not an NWA Local Sheep Dog? You can still honor Memorial Day by visiting a local cemetery, attending a remembrance event, or joining a Carry The Load relay or rally near you. Take a moment to reflect on those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Let’s all take time to remember and honor those who served.

2025 Kilimanjaro Climb for a Cause
In 2025, a group of determined Sheep Dogs will embark on a monumental journey to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. This climb is more than just a physical challenge; it’s a powerful symbol of the perseverance, resilience, and unbreakable spirit that Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) fosters in those who have served.
This is the 9th group to take on this challenge with SDIA, and they look forward to all 8 team members reaching the summit. Each climber is training to overcome their unique challenges to prepare for the ascent, and your support helps them with essential gear, travel, and other essentials.
As our climbers push themselves to reach new heights, they are raising vital funds to support SDIA’s mission of empowering America’s heroes to rediscover their sense of purpose through Outdoor Adventures, Warrior PATHH post-traumatic growth training, and critical support services. Every dollar raised will go directly to providing life-changing programs that get Sheep Dogs off the couch and back into...
