Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) Disaster Response (DR) Team Members have been hard at work bringing hope to devastated communities following Hurricane Helene.
- Florida: SDIA deployed from 9/30-10/4 assisting primarily First Responders in Leavey County on the road to recovery as these Sheep Dogs worked to serve others in the community.
- North Carolina: SDIA is currently deployed in Western North Carolina bringing supplies to stranded families and assisting with cleaning up storm damage to provide access to facilities.
- Hurricane Milton: Sheep Dog Impact Assistance (SDIA) will be deploying a Disaster Response Team to Florida to assist devastated communities in the wake of Hurricane Milton. Our team will meet at the Center for Nonprofits in Rogers, Arkansas on Tuesday October 15th at 8:00 am and prepare to depart by 9:00 am.
Every donation, no matter the size, and every hour of volunteer service helps us make a lasting impact. Together, we can continue to provide the necessary support that our community desperately needs.
Thank you for considering this critical call to action. Your commitment to our mission is inspiring, and we are grateful to have you by our side.
We are in dire need of your support to continue this important work. Due to the high volume of work, the SDIA Disaster Response Team is in need of funds in order to replenish supplies such as chainsaw materials, tarps, fuel, and other needs.
The next DR Team will rally at the Center for Nonprofits (1200 W. Walnut St., Ste 2310, Rogers, AR 72756) at a date and time to be announced. SDIA is monitoring Hurricane Milton at this time.
